Pricing insights for Prequel: Photo & Video Filters
Prequel: Photo & Video Filters is free to download on iOS. The app carries no paid download in any of the 52 regions tracked, so the download itself is never the variable. The real regional cost sits inside the app, in the in-app purchase lineup. Read it plainly: the download price never varies by region, and only the in-app purchase price does.
Prequel Gold is the product that shows the spread. It is priced at EUR 2.99 in Spain and EUR 4.99 in Portugal. That is a 40% in-app purchase price difference across 3 regions, and it is the only meaningful saving available to anyone comparing storefront accounts before buying.
Two details matter before you plan around that gap. First, the app has 70 distinct in-app purchase products, so the catalog is far broader than the single entry point most comparison guides show. Headline prices vary by product, not just by tier. Second, Prequel has no subscriptions. Nothing auto-renews, so there is no annual commitment to weigh and no renewal date where regional pricing could shift underneath you.
The 40% figure is narrow in scope: 3 regions carry the widest gap between the cheapest and most expensive Prequel Gold price. The rest of the tracked regions fall somewhere inside that range, and this page does not extrapolate beyond the prices verified here.
Prequel Inc. ships the app in the Photo & Video category on iOS, and it holds a 4.62/5 rating from 17,617 reviews. On a title that well-reviewed, the regional price gap is a footnote next to the feature set — but it is the one number that changes depending on where you buy.
